About Baloo: Baloo has had quite the exciting life. He was born in Maine in 2009. He was trained and run on bear before being sold to a new owner that took him to Georgia. There he hunted raccoon for quite some time. After leaving Georgia, he lived and hunted in Massachusetts. His next adventure was heading out to Oregon. There he was trained to hunt big cats.
When it was time for him to retire from hunting heavily, he came back to Maine to live with us. Here he has been hunted minimally but has been shown to his UKC conformation championship and his bench grand championship, almost exclusively by a youth handler. He is now working on field trials (pointed) and water races along with tracking. We may also try doing some barn hunt competitions with him in the near future. He is available for stud services on a limited basis. Stud fee is $300.
