Checkers was purchased as a pup to be a show dog. She has proven to be quite the stubborn pup to train. She is an escape artist and doesn’t know how to sit still. Even if she is exercised for hours at a time, she still has to be on the move. We are really hoping that with time, she will mature into a wonderful show dog. And maybe we can do some water race and field triad with her as well.
Update: Checkers hated showing. She has been placed in a home as an emotional support animal and is doing well. She has had one litter with Reaper and produced some nice pups.
